    Pretty knife for the missus

Partner has decided she wants a knife, prettier the better. I.e. gemstone pommel or stone scales, doesn't need to be a good steel stainless would be fine so i don't need keep sanding rust off it for her!

Needs to come with a leather sheath.

She is tempted to steal my jack knife off @Nga but not that keen to let go of it!

Maybe @Shelley has something or @terryf

So throw up some pictures, cheers guys

    A Bahco with bling?????

You can achieve a lot with a hot glue gun after a visit to one of those bead shops (mind you, so could your wife if you took this seriously)

I did suggest a bahco.... it didnt go down well, even when i tried to explain that the steel is great and an important factor in a knife

I read the header and thought " that sounds like a good swap" - but that wasnt what you meant , apparently ....

Those Bahco are damn good knives , stay sharp for ever , nice size , cant lose the bright plastic sheath , and you can peel a mean potato with one as well. What more could a wife want eh ?

For change out of $20 you can bling one up and give it to her for a giggle.

The irony is, if you are sensible with the bling (ie avoid “my little pony” multi- coloured ribbons) I’ll bet that the knife would get some use lol

You could look at a quality knife blade and just do the scales and sheaf specifically for her?

What will it be used for?
Experience. What you get just after you needed it.

She wants it for cutting rope, cheese and salami.... fixed blade to cut a bit of kindling. The fact she has a couple of serated vitronox that work well is beaide the point. As frog features says dont try bringing logic into it

I'm trying to get her into hunting / outdoor camping and its starting to work so i take it as a good sign that she wants a knife!

Svord will do you a custom if you want to spend.
I have a bright green peasant folder as my daily. (Only because my carbon steel mercator is currently misplaced)
Winchester have some purty ones with brass and what looks like rosewood scales, and they're a good steel too.
