Hey mate, Ive just been online looking for 700 action screws, and it appears that Workshop innovation may sell Mod 7 fronts and rears seperatly.

Try give Stu a call at the Alex hunting shop: https://www.centralotagosportsdepot.co.nz/

He may have something in a box of bits for you.

Check the thread and go buy a button head screw at the local fasteners supplier of the right length or cut to length. Its probably 1/4" UNC
May not be an exact match but will be cheap and will work. Then at least you can use it until you find the right screw

I think from memory the silly little rear action screw is smaller than 1/4in. This is the one issue I have with Model 7's - really easy to strip the hex head if you're not careful.

Dremel a notch into it to make it a standard screwdriver slot

Popular mod with the yanks is to bore the rear screw out to regular Rem700 size. I would not bother!
