Thread: Rear flip up sight for Browning SA.22

Hi all, looking for a rear flip up sight for an Browning SA .22. Mine was taken out of its dovetail to fit a scope rail extension at some point.
Gundoc has suggested they are similar to the rear sight on a Ruger 10/22 but I thought I would see if someone is sitting on exactly the right rear site before trying to modify one.
It’s for a very nice 70’s Belgium made rifle.

Depending on the age of your rifle Browning also used a second style of rear sight that had a ramp and buckhorn setup (like a Win 94 sight). So you may find other options available on old .22 that you could use.

Go a replacement for mine from Brownells.
The first models had the ramp style.

Back b4 they were insisting on import permits here.

Couldn't see any obvious Brownells restriction.

@Southcity this one is close and is 3/8" dovetail base so should be a nice easy fit
