    Red Dot

Working on a little project. Pics will appear in the show off your new toys thread once completed.

I'm going to want a red dot to go on top and am after something very low profile and compact that will only need like 1 or 2 slots on a pic rail i.e. will mount on one base.

    Cheers

its surplus to requirements when it returns, depends on how urgent you need it.

I was kinda hoping to not have to spend Trijicon or Aimpoint money. The Leupold ones really haven't reviewed very well.

I hate to sound cheap but I have a little holo red dot on my 12g I got off of trade me ($40) . Some no name chinese thing that was only temporary to begin with but has been on the shotty for several years now and has never missed a beat , even with buck and solids.....as I have had no trouble with it I have left it there , why spend big money and change it when it works fine...?
also got a little mini holo red dot on the 45/70 which I paid $200 ish for ,again no issues with that...

I'm currently comparing the Truglo Tru-Tec from 55six and a Vortex Crossfire to give you an idea of budget here.
