Regretfully for sale: BRNO 601 222 Rem + dies + brass

Got this off @Madjon in a trade and it is a beauty but I cannot justify 3 rifles in the same / similar calibre in the safe.

I have shot 5 deer and numerous wallabies with this. It is a pleasure to carry, shoot or just look at with a peaty whiskey.

Shoots very well, sub 1 inch at 100m with handloads and around 40mm with factory S&B.

drops deer at 250m with neck shots etc....

It is a 1967 genuine BRNO with a factory walnut stock, they don't make em like this anymore.

I would say the rifle is a 9.5/10 and has the pop up peep sight and factory irons. Comes with a set of lapped 1" rings and hornady dies. I will throw in whatever brass i have left.

I have got photos of the minor bumps on the stock and the scratches in the muzzle when i fell down a ways looking for two dead deer in the dark, don't worry some rocks broke my fall

    $1100 ONO

    That is sexy AF!
And would be a perfect match for my 600.

I have zero space for another rifle unfortunately, you wouldn’t want to trade for a .223?

I'm not familiar with these, is the action a mini or a short action with spacers in the mag. By mini I mean a scaled to suite bolt and action just long enough for the ammo - similar in action size to an A1 or L461 ?

Same size as a 308 action.

Has a mag box and spring that is centrally located on the bottom metal. feeds and functions perfectly.
