    Reloading stuff for 45/70 reloading stuff

    163x Sierra GK
    100x Hornady SST
    308 win FL and bullet seater
    308 win factory crimp


    After 45/70 dies and .458 or .459 flat point mould.

    shootersnz makes great cast pills for this round at a very reasonable price......might be easier to purchase his????perhaps.

    I know but I have about 25 pounds of lead that would just gather dust

    you could always do a horse trade.....couple of pounds of lead for couple of hundy pills LOL.

    1 pound of lead will get you about 17 projectiles at 405gr or 14 500gr ones just to give you an idea on how many you will get out of your 25 pounds.

    was looking at some molds in 600gr and 700gr thought that they would be good subsonic projectiles with that extra wee bit of weight .
