    Remington 700 DM trigger needed.

    HI Guys
Just had a cal from a mate who has been trying to lighten the trigger on the above gun but has found that the adjustable screw just isn't, so he will try some acetone on the screw to try to free the screw from its bonding but if this wont release and he fucks it completely he would need a new trigger, so has any of the guys that do projects have one they want to get rid off?

    Cheers
    Mal

It will just be a standard rem trigger.. There isnt one specially for a dm model...

Id say he has an X (prick) mark pro trigger and they are just a bugger to get well adjusted...

Keep an eye out for the older model they are a bloody good trigger with tuning...

Yeah i dont think there is anything special about the DM models trigger but it looks like one of his adjustment screws has ha a glue of some description put on it and now it will probably break before it adjusts, dam thing is set at 5 lbs which is not a great weight at all.

Its a kind of locktight, apply a little heat and it will move.

Malhunting, heat will set it free, aimed directly at the affected machine screw.

Both the old and new triggers are easy enough to get right, 1.5lb isn't too hard to get down to and I have both of them here if you need one.
