    Remington 700 like bare actions

hi guys, up for sale 2 Rem 700 like bare actions. they are 17-4PH stainless imported form the USA. Surplus to my requirements.
i've imported 3 of these and was going to make 3 rifles, but decided to make 1 and sell these to. They are bare, no bolt included.
screws are M8 (3) not intended for rem 700 inletting and single shot. rem 700 bolts fit in the raceways, just maybe a little adjustments to it.
they are made to receive rem 700 type triggers. diameter of 41.9mm x 190mm long, typical 1.0625" x 16 tpi. a bit longer tenon tho.
there's no serial number, but I HAVE to see your FAL or a police mail order. NO FAL NO SALE!
i am asking 350 for each or 600 for both. ask as many questions as you want.
    cheers

there's no cam inside of the action so a cam must be done on the bolt lugs and you may have to adjust the handle location. probably someone with the right tools can do that

So, explain to a dummy like me: I have a good quality barrel, and then one of these. Apart from a stock and a bolt and some 'smithing, what else to I need bitswise to make it into a blind mag fed rifle?

haha not a dummy question. i'd say a blueprint of the mag well, end mills and a milling machine. these actions were supposed to be used as single shot. not sure if i've answered it correctly. let me know. cheers

Cutting a cam on the bolt lugs reduces the bolt bearing surface
Commonly done as there is quite a bit more work and tooling required when making action
Remington actions have got the cam in the action

If only they were south paw. If I were to buy these I would have build BRs or Dashers on them.

Lovely pieces you've got there mate.

Is the cam on the front of the lugs or the rear?

Do you know if the lugs are hardened?

guys, there are 4 type of cams. they can be on the bolt lugs (back), inside of the action (abutments), on the back of the action and 1 in front of the handle, but you will want, of course, just 3 of them running in tandem. two have to be on the back of the action (contacting the cam on the handle) and the others can be either on the lugs OR inside of the action, when you talk about Rem 700 actions and similar. if someone has a better explanation, please, go ahead.
pew-pew, hardened to condition H900, ie, around 40HRC.
