    Remington 700 take off barrel

Looking for a Rem 700 take off barrel for project, prefer stainless, new and 24" open to caliber and cartridge.

Im out there is a ruger 270, a husky 243, a 280 improved with quite a coarse thread and an unmarked barrel with a thread similar to the husky.
mike's barrel doesn't sound too bad

Bag of chips?, was looking at standard cartridge, but if a WSM can be sorted to feed properly in a staggered mag, might be worth a look, the other two WSM's make no sense!

Good mate on the coast has a 30wsm in a blaser-really likes it. Think he had a 7mmwsm or 270wsm before that but wanted the extra punch. It does have the ability to reach out and touch things a long way away. the 270wsm would be pretty good though.
He did say he likes the shorter bolt throw over longer cases

Problem I see with the 7mm and 30 WSM's is that they replicate existing factory cartridges, the 270 WSM doesn't, warming up to the idea, hey @mikee , 2 bags of chips do it?
