    Remington Model 7 708 SS

Attachment 54498I have for sale a remington model 7 in 7mm08, bought new a few years back.
Has had bit of work done with most having receipts.

Ready to shoot weight minus ammo
    3450g.

Rifle has been shortened to 16" and had a dpt suppressor fitted, has some paint on suppressor missing at end from being bumped (photo). Bottom metal has some paint missing (photo) due to insulation tape i used to hold action in place when i was bedding rifle. underside of the action has some light scratches from where some bedding compound was stuck to an average release agent i tried, re-started the whole process using wax which worked very well.

Bolt has been fluted, bolt handle lightened and bolt knob replaced, gunworks did this. Just had bolt lugs lapped aswell by gunworks.

Scope is a zeiss tera 3-9x40 duplex reticle, 1 year old came on a rifle i purchased to replace this.

    Rings are weaver quadlocks.

Stock has been fully bedded by me using JB weld, nothing to pretty but seams to work fine, full action has been bedded and pressure point at front of stock removed, barrel is free floated.

Rifle comes with everything you see in the photos excluding the bipod. Also can come with load data as per the target shown, this was shot at my local range a few months back (photo), I'm not selling this rifle as a tack driver, as it isn't, can get very good groups but it does have a very thin profiled barrel, this is a good light weight bush setup with more potential.
I am in the waiting line for a carbon fibre stock by stu at stug stocks so i can pass on my place in the line, this will save a lot of weight as these factory stocks weigh a fair bit.

    $2k

    Rifle is on trademe also.

Cool little rifle mate, i have one basically the same but cut to 15", very handy. Thats actually a pretty good price all up with DPT and Zeiss scope etc. Good luck with the sale.

Not just bush mate, mine shoots very well at 400 yds and i'd be happy to shoot a deer at that range with it if that's all I had on the day.

I don't suppose you would you be interested in selling without the scope?
