    Restored Marlin semiauto

Have just finished an interesting wee project - a Marlin semiauto 75C . This is the 18" shorter barrel carbine version of the classic M60. Same action - tube takes 13 instead of 15-17 rounds. Full size stock.

This is a 1987 model with manual hold open, last-shot-hold-open, has a complete new MCARBO spring set, nice light trigger, light Sikkens satin finished stock, resprayed receiver, reblued barrel etc. It has typical Marlin semi accuracy - passed with flying colours. Best four group average (5 shot groups) at 50m was 0.62". Loves CCI. Comes fitted with a new Outdoor Optics 4x32 scope and rings.

Very handsome little rifle - condition 9/10. Did final cycling test on range today after fitting new spring kit and it handled CCI hv minimag and subs perfectly. Hope to have some pics shortly. Will be available here for a day ot two at $300, then if no interest onto trademe at $350. Great wee hunter and a very fine little rifle. Would keep it but have got too many....dam it looks good though..

    Cheers Mike

Very nice almost a tiger striping on the stock? How come rings are so far forward on the action and scope is right back in them?

Yes have seen a couple of the 1980s Marlin semis with this unusual across-the-grain striping effect and it is quite striking. Dendroflage..

Re scopes - I range tested this with a Mueller 4.5-14. The 4x32 on it hasn't been adjusted to position - just popped on for the pics as bought from someone.
