    Retiring, everything must go..............

    Hi Guys,

Well family members health condition has taken a turn for the worse so will not get to enjoy this rifle as I would have hoped when buying it twelve months or so ago.
I intended to take up F-Class shooting but only got to attend a handful of shoots.
I havenít shot the 284Win barrel at all.
Second time out and wet behind the ears at rifle competition shooting I shot the target below at 600m.

    RELUCTANTLY FOR SALE:

( Iíll list here for a week before putting this up on the yellow site.)

Barnard Switch Barrel rifle 284 Winchester & 6mmBR Krieger barrels included.
6mmBR barrel is 30Ē long and the 284Win is 28Ē long.
    McMillan A4 stock.
    50MOA base.
    Price $3,800 including both barrels.
$1,400 for mint as new Sightron 10-50 x 60 Scope.

I wish to sell as rifle / scope combo so purchaser gets first pick of below reloading equipment at 10% off listed prices.

Therefore I will not be selling any reloading stuff until the week is up and if no takers for the rifle & scope I'll list those on the yellow site but sell the reloading items here if any interest. Please only PM me for any purchases as that will be easier for me given I won't be here 100% of the time with radiation / chemo etc going on.

I would love to purchase the PMA Expander Die body if you are interested in selling that separately/ rifle buyer isn't interested.

I would be interested in the RCBS press. Could I please request some detail by PM on what the refurbishments are ?
@Oli1102, the PMA gear is great. I'd recommend someone (like yourself) taking the whole lot as a complete kit, keep the bits together?

HERE ARE THE PICS OF TARGET SHOWING RIFLE ACCURACY POTENTIAL & RIFLE ITSELF ,Old Mate has fallen victim to the forums clunky design & messed up posting here -

    https://www.nzhuntingandshooting.co....must-go-70507/

@ihmsakiwi First of all sorry to hear the news of the health worries ,my wife went through the radiation / chemo etc for a couple of years & is now in very good health. The main piece of advice l can give you from a family that has been there & done that is do not let it over whelm & become the all controlling factor in your lives, make sure you take time out for yourselves when ever you can, there is no sugar coating it this will be a hard & scary time for all but do not let the bastard wear you down .

If you get down to the South Island & want to spend some time to recharge your batteries on our little bit of paradise you are more than welcome ,we have a 120 Acre farm with separate accommodation & a separate secluded cosy mountain hut/batch/Art studio on 20 acres ,as long as you are OK with home grown/ butchered food all you will need to do is get yourself down here & we can look after the rest,l was a hunting guide in another life so if you are up for a hunt or just a look around we can look after that as well .

Of course if you just want a talk to someone who has been through it do not hesitate to reach out/PM,if we can help we will, all the best to your family in this difficult time, but there are very good outcomes these days, we wish your family all the best .
