A ride for some Reloading gear from Kapiti Coast to Balclutha

So I got a good Buy Now deal on a reloading kit on Trade me and thought I was pretty clever, but turns out NZ Post wont deliver ANYTHING firearms RELATED, not just Firearms parts like their website says. Other couriers want $170 to bring it down, Which wouldn't be a disaster given what I paid for the kit, but would take the shine off the deal a bit. Just thought I would post on here on the off chance someone is embarking on a holiday road trip and felt like being a champion. There is no explosive bits, just a box of tools essentially.
I can provide beer, shit chat and some private land with animals to stomp around (before or well after the beer) to anyone who can help out.
    Thanks

@LMcNab If it was a TradeMe deal get the seller to courier your stuff using TM's courier service.
I've used it lots of times even for firearm related items and in most cases they weren't even TM transactions.
One of (the only??) good features of TM.
Costs are cheaper, the item is picked up from the seller's door.

Go onto TradeMe yourself and work out the potential cost. Stuff from my address usually gets pricing for 2 of the mainstream companies but much cheaper than if you deal direct or thru an agent with them.

One point - if I book using my tablet they ask for a declaration whether the item is dangerous goods. If I book using my Desktop PC the question doen't come up. Or vica versa, cannot remember which way around.
At any rate your reloading gear is not dangerous goods.

If the seller is reluctant to use TM's service you can book it yourself ie collect from seller's address, deliver to yours. I've done that a few times.

Pass-the-parcel is very good for larger/heavier boxes.
