    Ruger 6.5 Creedmore package.

hey all, for sale as package preferably.

Just started load dvlp. not shot any groups other than 20 to 30 shots into a 50mm at 100m during load dvlp. 140VLDs @2675 ish. 2grains over max but no pressure signs visible.
Have shot a foot square rock at 675 yards using the balisticplex holdover, though 500 or 550 is the max for the hash marks.
Haven't shot any animals with it, i assume they'l go dead real quick, as do most things hit with a 6.5.
If i were to keep id probably just use the 130grainers or 123s as they zip along faster and shoot flatter out to the scopes capabilities.
Barrel threaded from factory, and is blued not S/S.
Barrels had maybe 50 shots thru it by me, and was brand new from shop when i got it, and is still shop minty shiny.
This is a primo setup for someone not arsed with ballistic calculations, and just want a range point and shoot package.
I have filled the plastic forend with Balistic Epoxy, to stiffen up for bipod use.
Yes the stock is plastic, and the trigger guard is plastic and incorporated, if you dont like that, please do not post so, i dont care- negative personal preferences wont help my sale, just move along to the next rifle for sale post.
I find the Americans nice and light, bordering on crazy light, grippy, and very functional.
Sure they arn't pretty like a Sako, to some, but for those that want a functional tool over looks this ones a winner.
Please don't ask me why i'm selling, the rifle is near new, it will shoot better than most Kiwi's are capable, could do with a trigger lightening tho.
    4 shot rotary mag.
Id give it a 9 out of 10.

    Ruger American Predator cost $900...$700
Burris 4.5-14x42 Balitiplex scope new they are $450?...$350
Rings Burris with plastic Inserts new $100...$70
Dies loaded 40 rnds new they are $120 i think...$100
Cases Norma most are fired once x 48 , one is dummy case for the VLDs new they are $235 p/100 i think...$100
18 are loaded with VLDs .
Projectiles Berger 140g VLDs 59 remaining, $88 for full box ...$40
Powder 2209, loaded 40 out of the tin, new its $79?...$60

    package all up=$1200
If the package wont sell after a couple weeks, separate items prices are listed on the right of each item.
PM me about splitting the package if you don't need some items.
Hoping iv'e answered all possible questions, though if you are keen to buy and have a "genuine" question, please go ahead. There are no stupid questions, only stupid people

    cheers all

I've successfully lighted the accu trigger in my ranch version of the American - no issues following the recipe for success at calguns.net/calgunforum/showthread.php?t=850934

The good news in mine was it was relatively easy punch put the pins remove spring - I only took 1 turn of spring off and filed the sear with a diamond file. The best thing was the metal wasn't chemically hardened so hasn't gone grainy to the trigger pull feel over time. The spring if doing again I'd take a extra half off - but will do for now a nice pressure required and none of the factory creep some of these can feel like.

Hope fully this helps your sale - I think the Rugers are undervalued for what they deliver in a package especially for life in he NZ bush. When i first saw the thread I secretly hoped it was a Ruger precision rifle for sale... Bugger. Happy with my 300 Ranch for now...

What's the best price your willing to do for package?

Ideally I'm after 308 but for the right price

Edit: also I guessing this is 22 inch barrel?
