So you bought it. Was very tempted for the ribbed polychoke barrel on it. How bad was the wood in real life?.
Ah the old poly choke have one of them on my father's old auto. Such a iconic shotgun item of the early years.
Cutts compensator....not a Polychoke.
It's not the one off TM sold as "parts"?. It did have a polychoke in the pictures. But was missing the safety so thought it was your one.
Different gun.But I still need the safety parts...
The sliding safety and spring were very commonly replaced parts on the old Browning 2 shot auto, along with the aluminium internal action buffer. I had a good stock of both but they were quickly used up in the '70's, after which they were no longer available. You may find a specialist parts supplier in the US but you would need a mate over there (and an import permit here) to get them as none will export. They are not overly difficult parts to make, just fiddly.
May have to go that Route Gundoc if none here in NZ.....
Is the aluminium internal buffer considered a consumable part, and if so,what sort of lifespan would they normally have?.
