    Sako A2 .243

Very regretful sale. Said I would never let this one go but other toys and hobbies need to be paid for.

I cast my eyes over this beauty in a local hunting store a good few years ago and had to buy it on the spot. The wood and blueing is in great condition. I had it bedded by Hardy rifle last year. I intended to do a handload at some point but only ever used factory which shot around MOA. We have taken a fair few animals together but has spent most itís life with me in the cabinet unfortunately. Whenever she did get used she would get a full tidy up before going back in.

They really donít make them like these anymore. Rings included and whatever .243 ammo I have left.

    $2000 pickup Sanson, Manawatu.

Bro, It better be a pretty awesome project that replaces this classic…. Sure there’s no way you can hold onto it? I finally got one after much looking, and I’m never letting it go

I'm with Nick on this one - this looks like one of those times where financial necessity needs to be put aside for your long term enjoyment.

Develop a sweet handload for it and take it out hunting once a year. Clean and store it well and eventually pass it on to someone important to you who will treasure it.

SameÖ I recommend finding something else to sell, like a kidney or your least favourite childÖ that is a bloody beautiful rifle mate and I doubt you will find another like it!

That's a very tidy example of an AII, better than mine which is younger going by the serial number.

Gotta say as those above, that is a seriously good original example of an A2, I had a.308 identical to that, owned it from new and will always regret selling it. Hold onto it if you can!

I'm sorely tempted but it would be cruel to take it off @stagstalker 's hands. He needs to be protected from his own selling compulsiveness.

@stagstalker If you change your mind hit me up. I will take it and use it for my son to learn with . Would also sell it back to you at any stage .
