    For sale Israeli K98 (7.62x51)

For sale - One late model K98 Mauser. DOT manufacture with 1945 production date.

Interesting firearm, Waffenamp stampins on one side - Star of David on the other side.
Re-barrelled to 7.62x51 by the Israelis.

Unfortunately the previously owner has had all the metalwork finished in a black milspec coating. I've spoken to someone about removing it, but they said it's no go.

Selling because it's surplus to requirements and would like to make room for other toys.

Listed also on Trademe. If price on trademe exceeds list price here, or this doesn't sell by Tuesda - I will withdraw it from here.

No longer for sale here. I'm just going to let the Trademe Auction run it's course.

Just a tip for next time - it's considered polite to offer a slight discount to forum members if you advertise a Trademe auction here.

"If price on trademe exceeds list price here, or this doesn't sell by Tuesda - I will withdraw it from here." is pretty much the opposite of that

And listing on TradeMe with a reserve, (which equates to price you will accept) at $100 less that the price you offer here, is also, NOT polite.

It was a confusion of ideas between him and one of the lions he was hunting in Kenya that had caused A. B. Spottsworth to make the obituary column. He thought the lion was dead, and the lion thought it wasn't.

Yes it does, but it's pretty rare here that even those that sign up just to sell stuff don't give members a deal

Yeahhhh. I made abit of a mistake on that front. Didn't realise until after I listed on Trademe what I had done. Apologies guys, I promise i'm not just here to sell shit.

EDIT: but feel free to be angry. I probably deserve it.

Not angry at all mate, it's more of an unofficial forum guideline, and isn't actually written anywhere so how would you know haha. Like I said, just a tip for next time

I'm a hunter more than anything right now. But looking at my rifle collection, I own more MSSA's than anything else.

I used to work for SAI guns in Auckland between 2009 and 2012. My name is Seth. I've probably met a fair few people at one point or another.
