For sale: Swarovski Z3 3-10x42 with BRX reticle

It's on trade me at the moment but I will sell for $50 less than the reserve price to someone on here.

    That would be a win/win.

I agree with @deepsouthaussie mate. Having some gear on TM (didn't sell thank goodness), the success fee ,made it uneconomic to re-post the sale.
Not trying to lo-ball you - just thinking $50 discount to other members on here, compared to your TM price, isn't much incentive to help you make the sale.

No, the other way around, cheaper here than TM reserve. So you don't pay the success fees (that I don't get).

I could say something about backwards Aussies, but I won't...

I'm pretty sure he had it on here a short time ago. And no one wanted it.

The way I see it is he letting everyone know it's still for sale but listed on trademe now. But maybe I'm strange

Fuck, sorry! Make it $64.80 less than the reserve then... That way you don't have to pay a cent of the success fees on $1,200 and I don't get any benefit. Since I must owe the members of this forum something?

Correct mate. I had basically done a swap deal on this and my Leica. Since this fell through I thought I would start a fresh thread for each separately.

50 watcher's last time and 30 odd at the moment so price can't be too far off?

Just checked Euro optic for current prices, today it would cost $1,680 ex US. In NZ, the only one I could find was $1,500 with a plex reticle. BRX is an additional $50-$60. So I think $400 off is reasonable...

Any calibre. Swarovski has a ballistic program that works out what range each hash mark represents based on the ballistic data for your particular calibre. If you let me know what you are shooting and at what velocity I could give you an idea of what ranges the lines represent

Amazing how many people voice opinions in this sell section when they have no intention of buying.

people should not be allowed to comment on an item unless its a specific question with some interest in buying or a positive comment. rather than opinion, especially pessimistic opinion.

I have one of these with the brh reticle and rate it. I looked for quite awhile and it ticked most of the Boxs I wanted, good holdover reticle, lightweight, good glass, don't have to sell the boat to buy etc I found the BRx reticle quite fine so if you want that it would be great

That's really nice. If something is priced at a point where it generates interest, this problem is avoided. Not to say this isn't well priced, or that the point isn't valid, but then - IMHO it is a valid observation....
