    Savage Classic 17 HMR (package)

Savage 'Classic' in 17hmr. Real smart looking rifle. I don't think there's many of these around.

Had the factory 24" barrel shortened to 20" when I had the muzzle threaded for the Gunworks suppressor.

Scope is a Bushnell Legend 5-15 with AO.

Comes with 3 x factory steel magazines.

Comes with everything as pictured excluding the bipod.

Will also include a box of 50 x 17gr Vmax ammo if picked up.

Really neat rifle, that I've had alot of fun with, but since I've now got a 17 Hornet I don't think I'll use the HMR much.

$850 + freight. (Not sure what the options are for couriering rifles these days)

Very nice I have a couple of Savage Classic centrefires which are nice solid rifles (with a refreshing old-school lack of plastic), you don't see rimfire ones often at all.

Yes I must say, it's been nice to own and use, sure has a far nicer look and feel to the black plastic offerings that are more normal today. I've shot everything from rats to goats and plouthers to turkeys with this rifle and will be sad to see it go, but there's only so much room in the safe eh.

I'd hang onto it even though you've got the hornet, sometimes it's nice to have a cheap bombup without having to handled...
