    Savage Lightweight F/S

Having a rationalisation of what is in the cupboard, so will be selling a couple of rifles over the next month.

First off the block is a Savage Lightweight in 6.5Creedmoor
    1 year old
Comes with Talleys scope rings and a DPT overbarrel modular suppressor.
Has had approx 60 rounds through it.
There is a 100 brass to go with it, about 30 new unfired, primed with magnum primers the rest first or second fired.

The rifle strings horizontally and the problem seems to be me rather than the rifle, creating a 2inch group at 100m.

    $1100 + courier

Great rifle at a great price.. would have been sorely tempted a year ago, but have filled that vacancy now.

Just to clarify the stringing group size - typically 20mm high and 50mm wide.

Dont waste your time chasing every last fps, it doesnt matter in the real world, it wont make a difference, all it will do is cause head aches and frustrations. And dont listen to silly old cunts

Have you done much work to find the cause of the shot stringing? Bedded the action or checked the barrel is floated?

Also, does this have a removal magazine?

Exactly why I like hinged floor plates or blind mags, nothing to lose or forget ;-)

There was a high point in the stock which I sanded out so the barrel is now free floating.
I haven't bedded the action as I decided to sell it.
    It has the removable mag.

Barefoot. Did you try different powders to reduce the stringing?

tried two powders, but haven't put too much effort into it to be honest.
Being lefthanded means rightie rifles have to perform without much effort or they get the boot

Now off the market, I've been convinced to play around with it some more, or use the barrel elsewhere.
