    Been offered this scope 3 yrs old as new condition (to be confirmed)
    Not sure what to offer guy in Austria
    Thinking 1500-1700NZ ???
    Anyway - and Docter lovers out there - give me a yell
    Shes no lightweight as all Doc's are - but build and glass I know from Bino's is excellent and built tough

    Without an elevation turret it's value might not be that high even though it has illumination

    Suppose that would depend if hunting or shooting
    You know this - in 50 years of using a scope on a rifle, apart from the magnification - I have never touched the scope.
    I can hardly think of an opportunity where/when I would have had time too - even if wanted :-)

    But I must be old fashioned ah
    Or just old :-(

    I am pretty sure the elevation states a massive 2+ m at 100m. Also the scope show three caps, one each for elevation, windage, and side focus.

    One trader has been trying to sell his Docter Classic Sport 8 - 25 x 50 for months & months on TMe.
    It just doesn't sell, perhaps because he doesn't drop the price, always after $1950-$2000...or maybe Docter is just not well known enough in NZ for there to be interest?
    A good job and a good wife has been the ruin of many a good hunter.

    Its not well known at all in NZ
    I had a beautiful Bino - without doubt to this day the best I have looked through and I have looked through the best of the best
    Couldn't sell it (in the end someone got a bargain)
    It was heavy but !!
