    Sold mine on the rifle to Richmond fishing and shooting or whatever its called now,wasnt that long ago might still have them they getting a bit like hens teeth now ay

    BSA majestic 308, Had it since I was 14 and it was fucked when I got it! only good bit was rings and action.

    Viet I bought it for $350. Got offered 650 that week. You won't recognize it now

    Cant wait to see what youv done with it.
    I shot lots of deer and plenty of pigs with that rifle. Never missed or wounded an animal with it because I made sure I was CLOSE wish I could still say the same these days Was a little sad to let it go being the first rifle I ever paid for myself. I paid my mates old man the princely sum of $80 for it and it came with a steel fixed 4x that fogged if you got it wet, a big self tapper holding the cracked stock together and 3 inches of the barrel(bulged) that he had cut off crooked with a hacksaw! The old man still has it as a paper weight on his desk.
    Was one of those rare rifles that just "fitted" me,the Sako is nice but it still doesnt come up to the shoulder like that old girl did.
    I got 450 for it with the rings on it,also got rid of a lakefeild 22 and some old shotgun both very rusty and got some binos and a gps

    Im working on a factory BSA featherweight barrel to make it a little more original but in the mean time its a truflight PT in 243 ackley for a bit of fun.

    Havnt got it back to shoot yet,the pics are from the Kevin Gaskill after he finshed the stock.Trigger will get a little attention and the action etc gets a propper bluing
