    Yes I remember it didn't full length resize & not a problem when we only ran one 222Rem & a Hornet back then, if some else dropped a fired shell from their rifle in our cases then we could get a jam !

    Want me to pick that up next time I'm in Hawksbay @akaroa1 lol ?

    Great little simplex press thanks Gary

    Cleaned up nicely
    Made a new handle and ball end
    Adjusted the 22 Hornet dies
    Sized and seated a few dummy rounds and they are perfect in the Stevens
    Now just need a wet day and I will do some load testing
    The vintage rifle shoots sub moa with Hornady 45 grain factory so hope to at least equal that

    I have a bunch of die parts for one of these - mostly 38 spl from memory. Free for the cost of shipping if you are interested
    Be more involved and less impressed.

    Mounted the simplex on a decent base board for when I want it on the reloading bench

    Dug out the 300 MP powder and looked up the data
    So nearly good to go
