    SR 22 Rifle

    Hi all,

I have to let go of my SR22 as I am moving to Australia later this year. I have found there is nowhere to sell any semis now, crazy situation really and its just getting worse.

    Cal is .22 LR

Barrel length is 30.5cm had it cut down by a gunsmith and threaded for a bushpower Braveheart silencer
I took the Fixed stock off and fitted an adjustable Bushnell stock
Looks new i treat all my toys with care and respect.

Probably had 2000 rounds at most through it. CCI ammo is the best through this rifle

Bought standard for $1700 the extendible stock I think was around $280 and silencer was $150

Comes with 2 ruger 10 round mags.

I had a Redfield (made by Lupold) red/green scope on this but sale pending it might go over next few days

Lots of fun and dirt cheap ammo obviously. The closest thing you will legally get AR style rifle in NZ. Was an E Cat but is now legally an A CAT

    Ill take $1200 for it

Contacted seller, agreed on deal & he was going to email me bank details so I could deposit full asking price. Then later backs out as offered more $. Guess sticking by your word is a dying attribute these days! Iíve lost money and time because Iíve given my word to others & thatís how I was brought up.
Anyways, enuf ranting from me & Iíll move on...

I txt the seller, was going to pay the asking price, as you'd expect. Got told there was an offer already at asking, and someone offering $800, and that it was mine for $850. Don't think it's a fair move to make members bid above each other to get the highest price. The first person who got in touch should be the one getting the rifle. I know theres no legal bind to it, but pretty poor forum etiquette

Wouldn’t worry he’s going to Australia. As Muldoon famously said ‘He’ll raise the IQ of both Countries’

And this is why we are so annoyed by first time posters using the site as free for sale.
I hope nobody buys your shitty little rifle, with its bent barrel and jamming magazines.
