    SR4759 powder

    Hi there, after any amount of SR4759 powder for use in my .30/30 with cast bullets

    The SR powders were all discontinued years ago. The ADI chart says N110 is roughly equivalent in terms of burn rate.

    I've had good luck woth AP100 in a few calibres, though it's a fair bit faster.

    That was my go to, I think I got some of the last half pound tins in the country back in the early 2000s.
    In the 3030 I now just use blue dot.

    thanks for your replies guys . . . i know it was discontinued, i finished my last tin a few years ago
    but i keep hoping someone will have a tin tucked away on a dusty shelf somewhere or know of one . . . who knows.
    i have a few powders that work at the 1600fps range i use . . . but not as well as the SR4759 did.
    i will keep asking every now and again . . . R

    I bought some from a shop in NZ under a year ago. Packaging looks new. This one is promised to @Maca49 however.


    [EDIT] Date code says 25 Oct 2011, so has been made in last ten years.
