Stainless Savage axis in .270 + 3-9x40, Chch

Not too popular around these parts, but to be fair you guys here are generally comparing these to rifles 2-3 times the price. I'm after $450, pickup in Christchurch.

If you're on a budget, who wouldn't want a cheap, lightweight, accurate rifle with a nice flat shooting caliber and a lightened trigger (usually the main gripe with these)? It's not the package scope you'd get in the cheap all-in-one deals from H&F or gun shitty, so it won't fall apart after 10 shots like those do.
Yeah the stock feels like it came from a toy in a happy meal, but the shape is nicer to carry than my new gun. The grip is better to hold with gloves on too. I was planning on suppressing it, but a tikka came up for sale that was already suppressed. Bought that instead. Was going to keep this for a mate to get into hunting, but he's taking too long and I want it out of my safe.

    -Savage Axis in .270
    -Nikko Stirling gameking 3-9x40
-Weaver rings, one is offset (doesn't need the offset, my other scope did. Got heaps of adjustment with it now though.)
-lightened trigger, pulls at about 3.3lb. Standard I think they're about 5lb. Will give you the original heavy spring too.
-Has been bore sighted but not fired since that scope went on.
-Has marks on stock but no deep scratches
-Has a few rust spots, mostly on the barrel just in front of the stock. Nothing anywhere that would affect the action
-Bore is mostly good and shiny, a few little pits in it, nothing I could get on camera. It's had maybe 50 rounds through it.
-Shoots as well as I can, never had it on a bench. It'll do 1" at 100.
-Got a few leftover rounds you can have, maybe 10-15.

Cheers! Just want it out the door, and I haven't put the timewaster/moneywaster tax on it like I would if it was going on facebook or trademe. Hopefully someone here has a use for it, I don't like seeing stuff sit around unused.

If I hadn't just suppressed my 270, I would've got this. My axis in 223 is an absolute tack driver. Head shots out to200m on rabbits is not a drama. No reason why this wouldn't be the same
