I have a Voere 2107, nice wee German made rifle. Have only used open sights, and can ring a 3” gong at 50m time after time. Also comes with a Nikko Stirling 4x scope and rings, after more like $250 for it though.
    More meplat, more better.

I have a sterling model 20p semi. It has a homemade suppressor on it, threaded 1/2-20tpi and a cheap 4x scope, 15 round magazine. $150

Theres a nice toz down the page abit be a pretty good option
They are pretty good they are built tough and shoot very good but the finish is normally quite rough
Probably better finished than the norinco though
The norinco jw15s are very rough but they normally shoot very good
A $200 rifle is always going to have something that’s not good you get what you pay for
Most 22’s will shoot good enough for small game/pest control hunting at typical 22 distances of 25-70m
