Stripper Clips for 6.5 Swede (AND 6.5 Arisaka / 7mm Mauser)

I have bought some "new old stock" 6.5x55 Swedish stripper clips, Swedish army stock. I have more than I need as there was a minimum purchase amount.

I haven't got a 6.5 Swede but needed chargers for my Gun City 6.5mm Arisaka Type 38.

On holiday in Europe I looked for 7x57 Mauser stripper clips as the internet told me they would work for my Arisaka. No luck, the guy in one German gun shop even had to be convinced there ever was a 7mm Mauser! Anyway, I worked out 6.5 Swedish chargers would do the trick for the 6.5 Jap and I've now been able to check they do, as per the picture. They should work for the 7mm Mauser too.

Picture shows PPU 6.5x50 Japanese brass in the chargers. $20 for five chargers, including postage. PM me.

T38 loaded, stripper clip still in slot. Nosler .25 115 grain Ballistic Tips.

Patched to 6.7mm with two windings of .002" paper, courtesy of Countdown checkout operator who was changing to a full roll just when I got served. Gob adhesive (hest sensitive ink tastes poorly, ol' chap), dried, and a touch of vaseline just before seating. Need to cut to uniform starting point at leading edge.

Case near max of Trail Boss, measure used was a spent Norinco steel 7.62x39 case pour-filled to its brim.

Soldier of 2/21st Londons (First Surrey Rifles), photo taken in early 1915.
About six foot four tall, and with that an impressive reach with that rifle/bayonet combo.
