Iv seen them on nzar15s website if you can't find one second hand
What's with them venting excess gas? Wouldn't that be a pain in the ass?

Not from the reviews I have seen, it is for a pistol length 300 blackout though so time will tell. The fact that it has one adjustment with lockable positions rather than two screws (one adjustment, one locking) is something I am interested in.

    NZAR15 is out of stock.

Everytime I've looked over the last few months, even Brownells have been out of stock... popular item. I'm no expert, but my experience is positive with them

Sucks because that's what the police screwed me over on trying to import for an A cat rifle.

Yeah I will have to get a permit to get one if I can't find one here.

Just out of interest, to get a permit for such an item, I suppose you have to be E endorsed now then? (I am, so it's not been an issue for me, but if you aren't then that must be it? This thread just made me think)

I just got a gas part for an a cat mini 30, was pretty easy to be honest, just filled out the one page permit form and submitted it. Took about a week to get approved.

I think the restrictions mainly relate to dealers stocking up on parts but it seems to be a case by case basis.

I have one in .625, and it's more or less the same drama to change adjustment. I have heard that they can also carbon up over time and round out the adjustment, but haven't got that far yet. Might give mine a blast with throttle body cleaner or something if/when it happens. @stretch had some really decent blocks a while back

Basically yeah. Stupid thing about it is that I have E cat too.
