Swann Security recording system for sale

    Hey guys

I know some of you are running businesses and/or have kick ass sheds that hold a lot of valuable gear so I thought I'd offer up my Swann four camera security system with a hdd recorder for sale. It was used as a display model in a shop and when I brought and collected it one of the cameras was not operating but I haven't even had it out of the box since I got it home about 5 months ago to check it. My plan was to put it up to protect my home and garage (kinda an impulse buy considering I live in Mid-Canterbury ) but haven't had the time or inclination to set it up yet. Selling it as a near new 3 camera system but will include the forth camera as it may have just been the connector or something else simple. Brand New this unit costs $899 I picked it up for $500 because of the camera but I am willing to let it go to a good home for quite a bit less. If you have any questions or are interested let me know and I'll get some pics up as soon as I can.

    Cheers

    Mark

Is it wired or wireless? Triggered or continuous? And how much info can it store?

Kind of been thinking about it for a while. Live in a shitty neighbourhood when no one seems to shit where they eat, but one day I swear it will happen.

    Hey Chris

Anything worth owning is done wired in the security world (so is this by the way). According to Swann the picture quality of wired is much surperior to anything they can produce wirelessly. It is a top quality system so the cameras can be on all the time, scheduled or motion activated. It is a 320gb hard drive so over 2 months continuous recording or one hell of a long time on motion sensor. View and record all cameras at the same time, 2 remotes, back up incidents to USB for future use. Here go some pics of the packaging and of the units themselves.

    Hmmm.

Could still be keen maybe. Problem is I have a large courtyard between my house and my garage, so Id have to make up a massive conduit. Haven't thought too much about it to be honest, will look a bit more into it I think.

    Cheers man.

No probs Chris even if your not keen on these I would still advise against the wireless from everything I've heard from the boys.

Could be quite keen, I just want to research the unit and see what the almighty interweb says about it, frame rate, video quality, etc.
