Why did you want to swap for a VX6? Do you think they are better scopes than a swarovski??

I like the field of view and the eye relief on the vx6, to my eye I don't notice much difference in the glass, but I think the z5 is slightly better. But the advantage the vx6 offers suite me eye better. And has more room to dial on my rem mag then the z5. I also have a z3 4-12x50 BT on a 308 and think it's perfect for 50-500yards.

    Perfect summary.
    Agree completely
One of the things I've noticed in guiding people is that some people have a bitch of a time with the Swarovski eye box, but none with the vx6.

That's interesting. I know when I tried a VX6 next to a Zeiss HD5 I found the VX6's eye relief not as good as the HD5. I'm curious now I'll have to look at the swarovski's at the sika show.

Same same, have just swapped out a scope to be all Leupold for the eye relief / feel of the scope
Just suits me better, vx6 is on my lotto list but the vx3i 4.5-14 CDS will have to do for a while yet
Went to buy some camouflage trousers the other day but I couldn't find any.
