Swedish Mauser M38 Full wood Nearly Mint

    People,

I have a Swedish Mauser Model 1938, its the short rifle (24 inch barrel) model. Made by Husqvarna in 1941.

Condition is magnificent, most minor of handling marks, steel blueing is black.

Bore is mirror bright and sharp rifling.
Stock disc shows no punches for bore grade.

Matching bolt and all other numbers I can see (apart from bolt shroud.)
    Comes with its ramrod.

Its better with someone else who will use it.

Very nice wood, much better than mine, probably the photo but the bolt handle looks curved is it?

Yes it is - the Model 38's had bent bolt handles. (Unlike the long barrelled '96's.)

The m96's that were upgraded to m38 spec (m96/38) retained the straight bolt handle

Indeed they did. But this isn't one of them, just to be clear.

Yep totally. Really really nice rifle mate. If I didn't have mine and the safe wasn't brimming, I'd be all over it

Far out, that's one heck of a beautiful rifle, I hope it went to a good home!

Ha... may need your expert consultancy advice on a strong room! Hope you don't charge like PWC, Beca, or KPMG charge Council?
