    T3 in 6.5x55

    Tikka T3 in 6.5x55.
    -Threaded for suppressor
    -B&C aftermarket stock

Bought it to AI it, but the .264 Mag I just built makes that plan pointless.

This pic doesn't show it, but it has been threaded for a suppressor.

$1100 for rifle and rings, will add the suppressor for $200, can add a 3-9x40 mildot Nikko for another $50.

Would take a box (or boxes) of .264 140 VLD's, 140 Amax or 143 ELD-X as part trade

I ran some loads from another 6.5 through it and it shoots well enough I would happily take it hunting to 400yds, you won't win the Ballinger Belt with it though, not a high end custom target rifle. If it hasn't gone in the next day or so, I will put up a couple of target pics.

Feels no different to the standard T3 weight, whatever that is, no scales.

Not much heavier... I can't remember the exact difference on mine either but it's nice as a carry rifle. Add a heavy scope and bipod then it's more "hefty".

Now up on Trade me. The Nikko 3-9x40, I would swap for 6.5 projectiles.
    Shoots as Tikkas do.

What sort of speeds are the 130 VLD's doing do you know?

It's not a hundred year old Mauser! as the blurb said, was going to AI it and get some real velocity, but the .264 Win mag I just built has been up to 3350 without drama with 130 VLD and Swift, so the impulse buy goes back out the door.
