    Three Baofeng UV5R Radios.

    Three Baofeng UV5R Radios.

In good condition, only selling as I have upgraded to a set of 8watt radios.
Each comes with a charging cradle, (the plugs are foreign with a NZ adapters) and a earpeice.

    $40.00 each.
    $75.00 for two
    $110 for three.
I have extra batteries available for $10 each.
Costs include nationwide courier. Add $5 for rural delivery.

Any idea whether these are NZ compliant? - Baofeng are specifically listed as non compliant, particularly for import, and the Radio Spectrum Management people are pretty militant on it-an easy way to get a big fine

Fairly sure these are not compliant as they are dual band , are they not.
8 watt wont be compliant either, but the only people who give a stuff are the spectrum guys

Iv got a set , seemly they are compliant I took mine to town a few months back to get an extra set of channels on , they couldn't do it .I can leave 1 sitting the kitchen table and be on a bush ridge ruffly 17 k,s away and can talk clearly , used them on stewart island this year with good results not bad for the price.
