    Three firearms for sale:

I have three firearms to sell. Have spent some time doing a refurb on surfaces and they are in very good condition. My autumn projects...

First is a 15 shot Marlin 60 semiautomatic. Reblued and with blond timbered stock redone in Danish Oil. It is fitted with Mcarbo trigger kit, and is in 9/10 condition. Comes with a clear little Huntsman 4x32 scope. Lovely wee shooter. $325

Second is a Marlin 925 bolt action 22. This one is reblued with wood stock finished in satin black. Again 9/10 condition. Fitted with suppressor and 4x32 Tasco - clear little scope. Excellent T900 trigger - about 3.5 lbs. Very accurate and reliable wee rifle. $325.

Third one is a blast from the past - a Savage Stevens side by side shotgun with 30" barrels and tight chokes. Approx 1940 with 2 and 3/4" chambers. I have two of these and they are built like tractors and absolutely devastating on bunnies to 55 meters. Has a very tight action and barrels are mint. Reblued and with nice dark woodwork. Overall condition 7.5/10. Deadly old 12 guage. $225.

Keen on the Marlin 60 or 925 if the others don't want them

I will have a crack at some pics this evening. Sorry no DLX .

The two marlins are in lovely condition - the blondie M60 is a real beauty. Very elegant, and 60s are great shooters. Have had about 6-7 and all popped under 0.5" at 50m, and two touched 1/4" for 5 shot groups at 50m.

I've had two other 925s in the past and found them excellent rifles - both shooting under 0.5" at 50m off the bench. This one is finished in black satin enamel (about 6 spray coats). Have done quite a few rifles in this coating and its hard wearing and if scuffed you just give it a wipe with some oil.

Old Savage is a classic - and a real hard case. 75 years old, built like a tractor, and utterly deadly in the field - have nailed 48/50 and 49/50 bunnies in the field with my other one. It earned instant awe and total respect and we'll never part with it. This one might suit someone who likes some old school, or wants an effective 12g for the possums and bunnies without spending much.

Question - are there some guidelines to posting pics on this site?

You can never have enough Marlin rimfires. Proper Marlins anyway. If all else fails can I have a crack at the bolty if members above change their minds?

Photo quality not so good - the rifles look better. The M60 stock is not a washed out balsa look - has a nice honey colour which looks great with the black.
