    Tikka T3 Magazine??

Now I have been asked by a friend to find out a little about sourcing a magazine for a .243 T3. I know nothing of these rifles and to be fair am assuming they are of the detachable box mag type. Any help with prices, sizes and suppliers would be great thanks.

How can one lose the bolt? There's a retention clip thingy? Oh yes. Take it out and leave on roof of truck. Oops

The bolt release on the ones I've seen in the shops have operated by pressing on one end, and it didn't take much force. I suspect a slung rifle could easily swing against a pack after catching the bolt handle, on scrub or whatever, and it is goodbye bolt.

The first time I took my brand spanking new Sako away was on a week long roar hunt. I left the mag at home so i wouldn't lose it.
That is my story and I'm sticking to it

Doesn't happen if you have the safety on. Also the bolt release is the same as a lot of other rifles so the same theory applies to them as well? Unless its a T3 7mm-08, then i think it comes factory without a bolt and comes with a Latte instead.

Honestly, you will find a spare mag at most hunting shops, there are a couple of good ones in your neck of the woods.

    Otherwise:

    5 Shot:
    Gunworks Ltd - Tikka T3 6 & 5 Round Magazine
    Gunsmithing &Reloading Tools - Tikka T3 5 Round Magazine - 22-250 Rem Family, Tikka

    3 Shot:
    Tikka T3 MA Magazine S5850372

Hmmm .. I've got two T3's , and have never had this problem.

I've also never found the bolts as easily removed as you describe .....

I went with something that requires more effort, and being a contortionist would help, to remove the bolt. The T3 came out too easily for my liking, I was quite keen on it up to that point. Yes I'm a clumsy bugger and if anyone could lose it it would be me.

I have a t3 when you push in the mag wait till you hear the second click and its locked in
I'm still working out how you lose the bolt I think there is an I D TEN T error involved with that problem
