    Toyota 1KZ-TE - Rebuilt

    Rebuilt Toyota 1KZ-TE (2003 Hilux SR5)

I had plans to put this engine into an YN105 Hilux but have now sold this vehicle.
    The engine is from a 2003 Hilux SR5 (104104 Km) that I bought as a roll-over.
Details for work are as follows:

    New rings and bearings
    Crankshaft and rods crack tested
All gaskets and seals replaced (OEM)
    New cylinder head (OEM)
Engine rotating assembly has been balanced
    New water pump (OEM)
New cam belt and bearings etc (OEM)
    Flywheel machined
    New clutch (OEM)
    Injectors serviced
    New aux drive belts (OEM)

I donít do half arse jobs! No expense spared on the rebuild.
    $5000 ONO
    PICK-UP ONLY (Nelson)

Just a question, these motors normally do 500,000 plus km's without doing all that to it. Did something go badly wrong with the motor or did you just do it up for shits and gigs?

As it came from a rolled ute I just wanted to make sure all was ok. This head was replaced due to valve guide ware and cracks in the Pre combustion chambers - it was better economy for me to fit a new head than spend half the price of a new head fitting new guides and pre caps and fly cutting.

    Thanks

This is a complete engine fan to clutch, not a long block. Perfect for someone to drop into a LN65 - LN106
