Straight not bent? Anyone?
Straight not bent? Anyone?
We have been asked so many times and we have not been able to locate a source. Hopefully someone on here has a spare for you. If not, the easiest way to keep these old 17s shooting is to get a piece of polyethelene (White) chopping board or similar, (A chunk of mussel float will work too) and shave a fake magazine out of it. This way you can fill the mag well with a piece of plastic enabling you to use it as a single shot. These were accurate enough tht one shot would usually hit the target. By doing it this way, if you ever do locate a spare magazine, you can simply remove the fake one and use the real one.
Up side is a fake magazine can be stored with the rifle as it is not a magazine and it is still a single shot.
All the best.
sold my toz last year to duckndeer on here complete with 2 mags. you may get him to part with one but i think he bought it just for the 2 mags ...... maybe worth asking the question
@duckndeer are you willing to part with a mag?
Two magazines at craftys shop in hastings
$120 each
A big fast bullet beats a little fast bullet every time
you can also modify a mossberg plinkster mag to fit quite easily
I have two but they don't seem like they are worth selling even though that it is ridiculous to think they are worth $120!?!
What do the rifles sell for these days?
$150
One on trademe just went for $375

Nothing is tough about having a 70 lb bow and looking like an uncoordinated praying mantis while trying to draw it back.
Some hard to find mags in that lot.
And yes one is a Toz 17 mag
Cheers
