    Two mausers

    For nor-west who's in Perth.

    .264 magnum.
Built on a Parker Hale Safari action.
    Parker Hale adjustable trigger.
    23.5" 1-8 twist barrel threaded 14x1.
Scope is a Clearidge 4.5-14 mildot reticle with capped target type turret adjustments.
A great shooter with any projectile and basically any powder, least fussy rifle I've owned. Scope is tough, never lost zero, adjusts well, has lived on a couple magnums with no fuss.
Has had under 300 rounds through it, recoil is the same as a 270 and with a suppressor is a real baby to shoot. Bargain buy for anyone wanting an alpine or long range slips rifle
    Comes with brass and dies.
Recently had a Saum built so sadly needs to go
    $600

    257 Roberts
Built on a VZ33 small ring Mauser.
    24" Truflite 1-10 premium barrel.
    Bold trigger.
    Boyd's stock.
    Buehler safety.
Bushnell 3200 3-9 bone collector scope, DOA reticle with Rain guard (not the later bone collector which is a cheaper model)
Great rifle under 300 rounds through it built to use the TTsx and spits those out at 3400 with a load of 2208 will also shoot everything up to the Hornady 117's. I have now acquired a 257 Weatherby so this sadly has to go,
comes with brass and dies (the seating die may not be working?)
    $800

dogmatix, Tikka7mm08 and Sideshow like this.

They (the pics) do for me - OK I'll weaken . . . . I'll take (back, some of the bits came from me) the 264. Payment and delivery to be arranged after Christmas (I have another rifle in Lower Hutt that has to be picked up from an old boy that knows you Brian).

    Cheers
    Foster

OK Foster. Are you coming up? If not I'll get the other one and send them both. Sort out the payment with Jeff.
I hope most of you can see the photos drove me nuts trying to get them on.

That 257 is a great rifle. I've used it and was very impressed. Accurate as anything.

That's not helping me resist the urge to buy a Christmas pressie for myself!

    Hello all you buyers...

Brian has just let me know that his 'phone and internet is out of action. Probably until the end of the weekend. He will be contactable after then.

In the mean time I know this rifle pretty well and I should be able to answer questions if anyone wants to PM me.
