Valmet M76 ... With some Changes

    Evening All.

For Sale is my Valmet M76.

    It has been... Modified.

It has been converted to run on Galil Mags ... of Which six x 30 Rd Mags are included.

... It has also had a russian Sidemount installed , Which unfortunately is irreversible. (but solid as shit and works well with standard russian Optics.

Asking $1800 ONO, Trades Considered , but i'd prefer the Cash.

    This Rifle Shoots VERY well.

Rifle will be sold with an R4 Top Cover which has a receiver mounted Sight.

These Valmets are extremely high Quality - This is only going for the price it is because of the modifications.

Extras i have for Valmet M76's are :

    NOS M76 Bolt $150
    NOS M76 Firing Pin $150
    NOS Galil Bolt Carrier $150

The Modification to run Galil Mags is due to the addition of an Galil Bullet guide, Allowing the Bullets to chamber at the right angle.

Standard Valmets don't use this, and as such won't feed using Galil Mags.

I've probably run 100 Rds through using this conversion and there have been no stoppages.

I've had a gander at this, and it is THE nicest AK going. $1700 is so fucking cheap for what it is

Free bump, these are fantastic rifles (I actually bought one myself after handling the one now for sale) if you want soft recoil and the best quality AK for sale in NZ right now. This is it.

They normally use valmet mags but this one has been converted to galil mags which actually makes it practical to shoot as the original valmet mags are slightly rarer than hen's teeth

Hi there. Is that tape on the end of the barrel, is the muzzle break / flash hider included? Also what is the thread at the muzzle? I understand some are 14mm left hand. Have been trying to remove my flash hider to mount a suppressor, but it's very stubborn. Cheers

I know when I removed my break there was a pin that had to be punched out first. From memory standard valmet thread is just slightly different to the ak at 14x0.75, may be wrong though, @Masperjay can you confirm?
