    Vortex PST Gen II 5-25/3-15

    Hi all,

I am keen on a PST Gen II 5-25x50 FFP MRAD, but would consider a 3-15x44 also.
Send me a PM if you have one that you are wanting to move on.

    Cheers
    Sam

Euro optic have been selling the 6-24 gen 1 FFP MRAD for US $649 for a while, and the 4-16 is US $499 on closeout if ya have any interest in the older ones. Even with shipping, GST, fees and shit exchange rate it works out pretty cheap

Cheers, not too keen on the original one, but that Eurooptic sale is very tempting.

I've not seen one in person, but all the reviews indicate it's a big improvement over the original. Wish they weren't so heavy, but they tick all the other boxes so I'll have to live with it.

I have a 6-24 and the 5-25... As you say, big improvement in most areas, however the illumination knob is integrated with the parallax knob and will shred your fingertips in the cold ha, extremely stiff. From memory they doubled the adjustment per turn which is nice. My gen 1 has flakes of paint floating around in the glass after the Barrett treatment but no such issue with the gen 2. Both really good value so far

The 5-25 is quite a large scope in term of dimensions.

Yeah it's a bit of a beast, long and pretty bloody heavy.
But it has the features I want, and is a big enough improvement over the Gen 1 PST I'm willing to put up with the size/weight.

I love my 5-25 pst2. Milrad. Plenty of guys with much dearer scopes have used it and been bloody impressed. I'm looking to get a 3-15 for my 223 now.
