Only difference with my new one is the TMOA reticle which should work well with the CDS dial when reaching out a bit, I usually like to dial for elevation and hold for wind.
Just need to put together the rifle that it will go onto now so that I can use it.

what elevation turret do you have? Seems to be a hell of a lot of options like Zero lock, zero stop, plain CDS, capped, target etc etc....

Holding for wind gives you the ability to correct instantly when the wind drops for the shot.

Often i have 12-24 inches of wind in then drop back to 2 inches when the breeze dies.

Dialling for wind would take up way too much time

Exactly why I have been doing it this way.

It's often the case that the wind will drop off or change just at the time that the shot that you have been waiting for presents itself.
