Thread: Walther LP53

Hey guys, anyone have one of these they'd be willing to part with? Slim chance I know, but can't hurt to ask.

I thought it was a CO2 gun, but then I saw the lever. An unusual design. Was it successful at controlling the spring recoil jerk?

There is a CO2 variant but this is the springer version. Possibly one of the best cocking mechanisms...

They are about, but bloody pricey! I've been keeping an eye out for one too as a friend of mine grew up with one by his side and I'd love to get one back to him.

Sean Connery used one in one of the early Bond movies.

@Mintie They are very well made and worth the price IMO. One like in the photo would fetch for around 1K.

@Ranger 888 Yes he did. Actually it was just for the movie posters, at least 4 of them I believe. And the one he held in the photoshoot sold in 2010 at auction for $450,000US

I have one with original box and bits and is mint.Dont know what it is worth but will sell and $ will go to origanal owners wife.
