Want to Buy first Gun Safe

A good mate of mine is going through the license process and wants to get a safe organised, something basic that will meet or exceed the requirements.

Something entry level. Not sure on budget but

Located Palmerston North but can travel.

A cat safes are a waste of time in my opinion. Get a basic rack that sticks the boxes or a safe that's good for pistols or better. Just my opinion

Buy a much bigger safe than you believe you need.

I agree bigger is better, I bought a "3 Gun safe" and it has double that in it comfortably. He can always get something bigger later. Just thought somebody might have upgraded and might have a 3 gun size one they wanted to move on. I'll keep waiting lol

I have a smaller 5 gun that I'm moving on. Unfortunately I'm in the Waikato so distance is a bit far, unless by some miracle someone is going south with a ute.

Always look on the bright side... in a few short years, you'll only need a one gun safe, if you pass the scrutiny that is.

I've got a "gun city" one, I think it's a 5 gun. I'll run the tape over it tomorrow if ya like
    It's definitely entry level
