    I can only find refs to my pack as being a 75 ltr Gibo. As I got it secondhand, I dont know for sure. Think it may be 75 expanding to 85 with the day pack. ??

    @deepsouthaussie.
    It is not a dedicated hunting or tramping pack, but more of a trvel pack. Bloody well made though as it seems to be NZ made macpac. I only got it for outward bound trip and havent used it apart from that.
    I am currently trying to get hold of Bob murphy to give me a character reference on you. If the irishman says you are a good bugger, then we will talk

    They are terrible things. I've had mine for 33 years now and still going strong.

    Gibo, what is the problem with a slightly bigger pack? If it is too heavy filled to 85l then only fill it with 75l and use the compression straps. Then when you get super human strength with the euphoria of bagging something you have another 10l of space to call on.

    And I must say The Claw did have some good pack deals. Still not sure that just removing the tags makes it used.
