Hey guys

Had a suunto and kept scratching the face, switched to a casio rangeman and really happy with till the strap broke and I didn't realise, now lost somewhere on a 4hour loop track.....

Anyone got a watch laying round since they have upgraded? Looking for altimeter, barometer compass but don't want GPS or bluetooth. Ideally solar charging as well

I've got a Rolex Yacht-Master 42 18 ct white gold.

Brought it in Bangkok last year.

Seller reckoned it usually sells for NZ$32,000 but liked me so much I only paid $100.

So yours for $100 223nut.

P.S The seller said he would send the Rolex official papers and warranty to me in NZ, but they have been held up in the mail by Covid. I will forward them onto you when they finally arrive...

Tempting.... but really need something with altimeter barometer etc, o and waterproof..... (something tells me I wouldn't trust that to be waterproof)

What version Sunnto were you using? My Core gets hammered at times and no scratches.

Can't recall, there wasn't enough protection around the edges, the convex surface on the face stuck out to far

Nah battery died on it and I decided to get something new instead of the battery changed. Not sure where it is, suspect buried in a box of stuff at the bach so can't go look sorry

So it wasn’t the type with a clamp on charger?

Mine isn't for sale (unless the price is too good to say no), but I have one of the Casio Pro Trek models and it has been a really good reliable alti/baro/compass watch and cheap compared to a Suunto. Light, waterproof (not dive rated level of waterproof, but decent) and solar powered so you never have to worry about changing a battery.
