Nah, I've already had low ball offers around the $1k mark for the entire rifle. $1500 is the lowest I'll go considering I paid 4k for it not too long ago.

    Nice try though.

Would you consider selling just the action?

Hey, is the scope still available? I'm surprised the MKV hasn't sold for that price!

Yep, and he was bang on for the price he was asking ($900) and sold for $910, less fee's.

If only MKVs had cheap injection molded stocks, had plastic bolt shrouds, and were individually (indecently) fondled by a creepy Beretta quality control officer... *sigh*

Bump. Will throw in some virtually new 270win Hornady dies (come in box), and some once-used brass. Will chuck it in a soft gun case as well.

So what would it cost brand new, you ask?
    Rifle - $3800/3900
    Dies - $80.00
    Gun case - $25

    **(But wait, there's more!!)**

A high five from me - $xx, xxx, xxx. xx

That's millions in value for a mere $1500 including free postage. Not even Gun City could whip up a deal like that!

Patience Frodo - most punters bank accounts get emptied over Xmas. Give it a few more weeks

Exactly, that's why I can't grab your Nikon right now @chainsaw
Nothing is tough about having a 70 lb bow and looking like an uncoordinated praying mantis while trying to pull it back.

I'd keep it Frodo, considering what you paid for it- your taking too much of hit. And after extolling all its virtues I think you'd regret it. I've sold a few guns like that for short-term goals and I wish they were still in my gunrack...

Just as well. I was beginning to go weak at the knees. I would have to do it on the quiet though, so the wrong 7mm fanboys on here didn't notice.
There are only three types of people in this world. Those that can count, and those that can't!
