    What would you pay?

The bills are coming in, and as a student without a car something has to go... unfortunately for me the only valuable excess have is my Steyr Tactical Scout in .308.
I'd just like to know what you guys would pay/value this rifle which is in awesome condition with 300 round count, and shoots 1/4 MOA with Federal Gold Medal Match 168gr.

    Rifle is $5000 new
Vortex Viper PST 6-24x50 FFP scope was another $1500
$60 for the Butler creek covers
$100 for the Vortex scope mounted level
Atlas Bipod with QD mount and UIT adapter for the scout ran me another $605
    Muzzle Brake $300

    Totals to $7565

I would also throw in 100 rounds off ammo and 3 ammo boxes.

Me personally I would pay about 100 bucks(would have to check I actually have a hundred tho)
And would stab in the dark the package might be worth 3k to the right buyer?
Really I have no idea but it is kinda niche market.

Once it leaves the shop you can knock 25% off the value, something many owners delude themselves doesn't happen, especially Tikka owners who seem to think their T3's go up in value

I purchased an Elite Tactical new a few moons ago for $6500, ended up getting $3500 for it after only 50 odd rounds down the tube.

If you want to recover the most money you can you'll need to piece it out.

As I said it was a stab in the dark at a niche market second hand rifle price....at the end of the day it is worth what you can get someone to pay for it....who knows $1 res on dick me may get a bidding war.

Do what everyone else does and load up a false id to bid it up....or at least this seems to be what the likes of gun shitty do because they bid it up then win then the item is relisted?

As someone else said, you can generally get a better price by splitting a package up and selling items separately than what you would get for the whole package together.

Brake it up into parts and $1 reserve them if you really need the cash. They will sell for they are worth. Get a mate to throw some bids on if need be.

That sucks having to sell it. But like others have said to get the most coin you will need to split it up.

I fear that the others are correct in that the sum of the parts will be greater than the sum of the whole.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
