WINCHESTER 1894 25WCF (25-35) - Ideal Low Recoil Bush Rifle

    WINCHESTER Model 94 in 25WCF (25-35)

This rifle is a Winchester Model 94 of 1978 manufacture that was originally in 30-30 and has been retro fitted with a 16 1/2 'Douglas barrel (with a Very Good condition bore) and fitted with a Williams Peep sight it is a lovely bush rifle. The rifle has a nice Walnut Stock and is only for sale as I have purchased a 44 Magnum that is better suited to my needs (and i couldn't convince her that she should have this as her rifle - so the one in one out policy applies) - Fitted with a Hammer extension for quiet cocking from 1/2 cock position whilst stalking.(not shown in photos)

So if you are looking for something that brings back the nostalgia of the past but is still capable of shooting out to 200 mtrs plus then this is for you.

The Winchester .25-35 represents the lowest level of recoil in a cartridge suitable for hunting deer size game. The Winchester factory load launches a 117 grain flat point bullet at 2230 fps mv with 1292 ft. lbs. energy - maximum point blank range of that load (+/- 3") is approx 200 yards. The .25-35 kills just as well as any of the hotter .25 caliber rounds, it just does not have as flat trajectory.

Plus - HORNADY offer a 110gr FTX in their Lever Evolution range (If you pick up I will include a full box worth $60) - https://www.hornady.com/ammunition/r...win-110-gr-ftx
    -leverevolution#!/

Ammo readily available in NZ through both Gunworks or Outdoor Supplies to name a couple.

DO NOT confuse the .25-35 with the .25-20, they are very different in power and application

As photographed - feel free to ask any questions. (more photos available)Name: 25-35 - 3.jpg
