    Winchester 1897 / Norinco Trench Gun info

    Hey all.

    I'm looking around for a 1897 Trench gun, but I've no idea how much they go for these days or what a reasonable price would be for one.

    I know I might be looking for rooster teeth for an original but are there any of the Norinco Clone ones around.

    Theyre both chicken teeth now, originals and norincos.
    An original sold on retardme for 4k three or four months ago and norincos seem to hover around 2k even though they were like 1200 new. Lol
    I wouldnt part with mine. Theyre too hard to replace.

    Even at NZAH auctions, the recent almost original one went for $3800 with a modern rubber butt plate fitted. Had many people bidding. Good luck getting an original cheap.

    If you are wanting one for Wild Bunch, be aware there is a ruling allowing other shotguns to be used, if they have wooden furniture.

    I think the gun shop in Wellington is bring in some mossberg 500 retro that have heat shields on them
